"I launched and tracked my camera on a meteorological balloon from Boulder, Colorado to 86,000 feet above the Continental Divide on the morning of June 27, 2013. The Moon can be seen setting in the black sky above Earth’s thin atmosphere. In the center of the photo can be seen I-70 snaking up in to the mountains. At the turnoff to Berthoud Pass and Winter Park, I-70 turns South (left) in to the valley containing Georgetown and then up to Loveland Pass and the Eisenhower Tunnel."
